Led Solon to a 12-2 mark as they finished runner-up in Class AA, losing to 14-0 Emmetsburg. Had five tackles in championship game. Also plays baseball, basketball and throws the shotput. Finshed 22nd in Class AA state finals with a toss of 45 feet 5 1/2 inches. Had season best 50 feet 3 inches.
