| First-team All-Big Ten honoree by the coaches and the media... joined teammate Marion Barber III as the only players in NCAA history to each rush for 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons... shared Team MVP and Offensive MVP awards with Barber... became only the third player in school history to rush for at least 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons and led the team in rushing with 1,348 yards on 217 attempts... his 1,348 yards rank fifth all-time for single-season rush yards and his 12 touchdowns rank fourth for rushing touchdowns in a season... his 112-yard per game average ranked third in the Big Ten and 16th in the nation... averaged 6.2 yards per carry, which ranks seventh in school history... was second in the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns with 12... began the season with six straight 100-yard games and seven straight dating back to last season, breaking the school record of five straight... had three catches for 16 yards during the season (Official Bio) |
