Verdell Jones commits to Indiana		By Chris Monter Date: May 5, 2008 Verdell Jones, a 6-foot-4 guard from Champaign Central, has committed to Indiana at a press conference held at Jupiter's Pizzieria & Billiards in Champaign, Ill. Jones picked Indiana over Minnesota and Kentucky. The Gophers were thought to be the leader, but Indiana offered more playing time with the return of just three scholarship players under new head coach Tom Crean.
