Verdell Jones scores 16 in playoff win		By Chris Monter Date: Mar 6, 2008 Verdell Jones, a 6-foot-4 point guard from Champaign (IL) Central who visited Minnesota earlier in October, had 16 points to lead the Maroons to a 64-44 win over Normal West Wednesday in a game that was puhed back due to inclement weather. Jones, who is considering Minnesota, Kentucky and Tennessee, will play Friday versus the winner of Thrusday's Decatur Eisenhower-Springfield Lanphier game.
