Verdell Jones scores 22 in playoff win		By Chris Monter Date: Mar 4, 2008 Verdell Jones, a 6-foot-4 point guard from Champaign (IL) Central and who visited Minnesota earlier in October, had 22 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Maroons to an 81-69 win over #1 seed Centennial Friday with Tubby Smith in attendance. Central faces Normal West (16-14) in the Mount Zion Sectional semifinals Wednesday. Jones is considering Minnesota, Kentucky and Tennessee.
