Adam Grimm, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end from Mequon (WI) Homestead who attended the Minnesota-Illinois State game, saw his season end when Homestead was defeated by Milwaukee Marquette 31-28 in the second round of the WIAA Division 1 playoffs. Homestead, which was ranked No. 1 in the area and No. 2 in the state, had entered the game 10-0 and had outscored its opponents 386-94.
