J'son Stamper commits to Minnesota after visit Premium Story

J'son Stamper, a 6-6 sophomore forward from Independence (KS) CC, has committed to Minnesota after visiting this weekend and he will wind up as the Gophers' fifth signee for 2003-04, according to sources close to the program. Stamper had been previously offered a scholarship by Minnesota, and Gopher head coach Dan Monson and assistant coach Vic Couch visited the Independence campus before heading to the recent NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.
