Adam Weber, a sophomore quarterback, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 24-17 loss to Northwestern. The Gophers ranked #17 in the BCS rankings fell to 7-2 with the loss. Adam Weber, who won the GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse Gopher Offensive Player of the Week, completed 31 of 51 passes for 327 yards. He threw for one touchdown and had one interception for the second straight game. Weber rushed 16 times for 53 yards, leading Minnesota in rushing for the second straight game. Weber was also named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse Gopher Offensive Player of the Week last week and has won the award three times this season.
