They had hoped to sign a player, but missed out on Krys Faber and Verdell Jones and elected to hold the scholarship for next year. The Gophers will lose Jamal Abu-Shamala and Jonathan Williams and will have three scholarships available for next year. They have already added Royce White, who committed last month.
