Minnesota is off to a strong recruiting start as they have landed seven football commitments, including six from Minnesota. Ohio State leads the Big Ten with nine commitments. Purdue has eight commitments and Michigan has seven verbals, as does Minnesota. Michigan State, Penn State and Illinois have two to date.
