Minnesota Teams Are Unbeaten In Chicago

Minnesota teams Minnesota Pump N Run and the Minnesota Heat are undefeated after Saturday play at the Best Buy Spring Classic in Chicago.

Minnesota Pump N Run defeated Grassroots Canada 73-63 as Jonah Travis scored 18 points. Shelby Moats had 17 points and nine rebounds. Estan Tyler had 13 points as he made three of four three-pointers.

They defeated last year’s winner Terry Porter Elite 72-50 as Tyler scored 14 points. Travis and Moats had 13 points each in the win.

Minnesota Pump N Run will start playoff action tomorrow at 8 AM.

Minnesota Heat defeated the Illinois Bulldogs 77-41as Rob Daul of Hill-Murray scored 14 points. Spencer Pankonin from Lakeville South added 13 points and Lakeville South’s Jon Christenson and Max Watts of Chaska had twelve points each.

They defeated the Central Michigan All Star Elite 53-29 and will play at 8:00 Sunday morning.
