Pump N Run Falls in Atlanta Celtic Title Game

Shelby Moats leads Pump N Run to second place

Minnesota Pump N Run finished runner-up in the Atlanta Celtics Invitational, losing to the Georgia Stars 79-71 in the title game. Shelby Moats finished with 25 points and Alex Richter added 16.

Minnesota Pump N Run advanced to the title game with a 56-52 win over the host Atlanta Celtics. Roosevelt Scott had 21 points in the win. Mike Yahnke added ten and Jonah Travis had eight points.

They defeated the Georgia Blazers 75-47 in the quarterfinals as Kyle Noreen had 20 points. Alex Richter added 13 points and Travis had twelve.

Minnesota Pump N Run advanced to playoff action Sunday with a hard-fought 93-92 win over the Franchise All-Stars late Saturday night.

They started play Friday with a 62-58 win over the Birmingham Ice. Shelby Moats had 15 points. Richter added twelve and Noreen had ten.

They rolled to an 85-33 win over the Georgia Jaguars as Eric Robertson made five of five three-pointers to lead all scorers with 23 points. Richter had 20 points and Yahnke added 14. Joel Lindberg scored eleven in the win.

Minnesota Pump N Run finished pool play with a 70-34 victory over the Southern Kings. Scott had 18 points and eleven rebounds. Travis made six of seven shots from the field as he scored 15 points and Richter added ten points.
