Logan Lafferty, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound linebacker from Rochester (MN) Century, will be a preferred walk-on for Minnesota. Lafferty helped lead the Panthers to a 7-2 mark, losing to Owatonna 63-22 in the first round of the Class AAAAA, Section 1 playoffs.

Logan Lafferty served as the Rochester Century team captain that finished 7-2 in the regular season and was the number one seed in the Class AAAAA, Section 1 playoffs before being upset in the semifinals by Owatonna after a first round bye.

Lafferty also throws the shot put for the Panthers.
