Linn-Mar beats Minnetonka 88-71
Sophomore guard Marcus Paige made consecutive jumpers and got an assist on a three-pointer from Matt Bohannon to go up 43-39, a lead that they would never surrender. Page put Linn-Mar up 55-46 with a three-pointer, but Minnetonka made back-to-back shots from beyond the arc from Stefan and Chad Howard to the margin to three points. However, Paige countered with a three-pointers of his own to make it 58-52.
Bohannon made eight of 14 shots from the field as he finished with 26 points. Paige added 20 points on eight of 13 shooting and he added six assists. Shane Benton scored 17 points on seven of nine shooting and Josh Montague had twelve off the bench.
Stefan had an event-high 40 points as he made 16 of 26 from the field, including eight of 14 from beyond the arc, most of them from NBA range. Tor Anderson made five of seven from the field as he added 14 points.
