Minnesota Transitions Defeats Staples-Motley

Minnesota Transitions defeated Staples-Motley 58-36 to win the second game of the Timberwolves Shootout. They led 30-18 at halftime and held the Cardinals scoreless for the first six minutes of the second half as they pulled away

Kevin Noreen, who is closing in on becoming the state's all-time leading scorer, had a game-high 24 points and eleven rebounds. He made seven of eight from the field and ten of 14 from the line. Rodney Owens added 13 points and DeAngelo Potter had ten.

Jon Bristow paced Staples-Motley with nine points.
