The Redhawks tied the score at 38-38 and took a 47-44 lead with a three-pointer from Sam Gullickson of Holy Angels.
The Redhawks took a 54-49 lead, but Thomas Schalk of Apple Valley scored six straight points to put 43 Hoops up 55-54. Jameson Parsons of Eagan made two free throws to expand the margin to three points. Parsons missed the front end of a one-and-one with 25.6 seconds left, but 43 Hoops grabbed the miss and Parsons was fouled with 18.5 seconds to go. He made one of two from the charity stripe to make the score 58-54.
Parker Hines made a driving lineup to cut the margin to 58-56. Estan Tyler was fouled with 6.7 seconds left and made the second of two free throws to make the score 59-56. The Redhawks inbounded the ball to Taylor Hanson who dished to Billy Chpaman in the Valparaiso in-bounds play. Schalk paced 43 Hoops' balanced attack with eleven points. Marquel Curtis had nine points and Tyler had eight.
Cory Booker had 20 points to pace the Redhawks. Hines and John Rowland added nie points each.
