Minnetonka (MN) Hopkins rolled to a 68-26 quarterfinal win over Blaine in the Class AAAA State Tournament. Hopkins, which has been called perhaps the best team in state history, jumped out to a 44-13 halftime lead as they cruised to an easy victory. Minnesota signee Royce White was one of three Royals to reach double figures. Hopkins will face unbeaten St. Cloud Tech in the semifinals.

Notre Dame signee Mike Broghammer scored 11 points and future Minnesota forward Royce White added 10 points. The Royals played all 18 players and no one played more than 20 minutes.

Blaine shot 10 of 40 (25%) from the field and had 20 turnovers. UMD signee Dylan Rodriguez and Jesse Briggity scored 10 points each for the Bengals.

Hopkins (29-0) will play fellow unbeaten St. Cloud Tech at 6 p.m. Thursday.
