Blaine DE Di-Jon Starr Gets Big Ten Interest

Di-Jon Starr, a 6-foot-2, 251-pound defensive end from Blaine, helped lead the Bengals to the Prep Bowl championship game, where they lost to Wayzata 27-7 and finished 11-2 overall. Starr was named first-team Associated Press All-State and first-team Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro. Di-Jon Starr finished fourth on the Bengals in tackles with 88, 43 solos and 45 assists and had two sacks. He added three rushes for two yards and one rushing touchdown as a running back in short-yardage situations.
