The Minnesota Gopher football team entered their game against Purdue ranked #25 in both polls and #24 in the BCS rankings. With their 17-6 victory over the Boilermakers and the loss of nine teams in the Top 25, the Gophers could move into the Top 20. Minnesota faces previously No. 22-ranked Northwestern next Saturday for their homecoming game as they hope to improve to 8-1 overall.
Oklahoma State
lost for the first time this season, falling to #1 ranked in the BCS

, 28-24. However, the #6 Cowboys figured to stay in the top 10.
Ohio State
fell for the second time this season, losing at home to #3
Penn State
13-6. This should push the Buckeyes out of the top 10.
