DeLeon Eskridge Named Player of the Week

DeLeon Eskridge, a freshman running back, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 28-21 victory over Illinois. Eskridge was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.

DeLeon Eskridge rushed 26 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns against Illinois. His 46-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the Gophers a 20-6 lead.

Eskridge has rushed 120 times for 478 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
