DeLeon Eskridge, a freshman running back, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 34-21 loss to #14 Ohio State.

DeLeon Eskridge paced Minnesota in rushing yards and receiving yards in their first loss of the season. Eskridge rushed 18 times for 76 yards and caught eight passes for 55 yards. It was the first time that Eskridge has been named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week.
