Adam Weber is Offensive Player of the Week

Adam Weber, a sophomore quarterback, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 42-17 victory over Bowling Green. The win improved the Gophers to 2-0, one more win than the entire 2007 season.

Adam Weber, who won the GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse Gopher Offensive Player of the Week, completed 21 of 25 passes for 233 yards. He threw for three touchdowns and had no interceptions for the second straight game. Weber rushed 11 times for 13 yards with one rushing score.

Weber was also named Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
