Eric Decker is Offensive Player of the Week

Eric Decker, a junior wide receiver, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 35-27 victory over Montana State. Decker was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week after their season-opening win over Northern Illinois.

Eric Decker finished with nine receptions for 157 receiving yards against Montana State with one touchdown. His 3-yard reception for a score just before halftime put the Gophers up 21-13 at halftime. Decker has scored a receiving touchdown in each of the three games.

Decker currently is tied for fifth in the NCAA with his 25 receptions for 332 yards. He also has two rushing touchdowns.
