Matt Garin Faces Burnsville in Season Opener

Matt Garin, a 6-foot-4, 223-pound senior defensive end from Eastview who has a scholarship offer from Minnesota, will face Burnsville on the road in his season opener. He is close to 100 percent after recently having his knee scoped and cartilage taken out. Garin's father, Dave, said that he is just a little weak, but otherwise, there are no problems.

Eastview will play in a four-team scrimmage Saturday at Minnetonka, with Osseo and Hastings also participating. The following is a look at Eastview's schedule.
