Lawrence McKenzie signs overseas contract

Lawrence McKenzie, a 6-foot-2 guard who was a third-team Big 10 All-Conference performer this past year, has signed a one-year deal to play in the Balkan League with the FYR Macedonian Superleague Champions, BC Feni Industries for the 2008-09 season.

Lawrence McKenzie averaged 11.8 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 34 games this past season at the University of Minnesota. He was named third-team All-Conference and he poured in a career-high 26 points against Michigan on February 21, 2008.
