Punter Dan Orseske Commits to Minnesota

Dan Orseske, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound punter from Chicago (IL) Brother Rice, has committed to Minnesota, according to sources close to his recruitment. Orseske is considered by some observers to be the best punter in the country. The Gophers currently have Justin Kucek, who will be a senior.

Dan Orseske averaged 38.0 yard per punt last saeason as Brother Rice finished 8-3. He had a 35.1 net average with a 3.7-second average hangtime. Orseske punted 13 balls inside the 20-yard line.
