Glen Rice Jr., a 6-foot-4 guard from Marietta (GA) Walton, is making a name for himself this spring as he has moved up the rankings of the Class of 2009 and picked up several big scholarship offers, such as Minnesota. Rice averaged 25 points, six rebounds, 4.5 assists and four steals per game last year. GoldenSports.Net recently caught up with Rice's head coach, Joseph Goydish, to learn more.

Glen Rice was the Marietta Daily Journal/Cobb County Boys Basketball Player of the Year as he led Walton to a 17-10 mark this season, losing to Northview 56-55 in the regional tournament. Northview was led by Minnesota signee Ralph Sampson Jr. Rice's father was a three-time NBA All-Star who spent 15 years in the pro league, was named MVP of the 1997 All-Star game and played for the 2000 world...
