Daniel Miller, a 6-foot-10 junior center from Loganville (GA) Christian Academy, is one of the fastest rising big men in the country. Miller recently received an offer from Minnesota and his list of schools continues to grow after his strong spring play. GoldenSports.Net recently caught up with Miller's head coach, Mark Davis, to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Daniel Miller averaged 28.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 6.9 blocked shots, 4.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game as he led the Lions to a 20-1 mark and their second straight ICSGA State championship. He was named All-State and Most Valuable Player. Miller shot 79% from the field and 70% from the line.

Miller helped lead Loganville Christian Academy to a 25-0 record as a sophomore, pacing the Lions to the ICSGA State title. He was named All State and was the Regional Tournament MVP.

Loganville Christian Academy head coach Mark Davis told GoldenSports.Net that his standout big man is starting to get discovered.

"He is just starting to get the exposure that he deserves," Davis said. "We have just 125 kids total. Most people don't know we are out there."

Davis said that Miller is starting to get recruiting attention and offers.

"He has offers from Furman, Minnesota and College of Charleston. Jacksonville is in the process of offering him. Kentucky has had him on campus and Georgia recently showed revised interest. Davidson has come to watch him," Davis said.

Miller, whose mother played at Western Carolina, is a talented player who continues to improve, according to Davis.

"He is an extremely agile player for that size. He is a fantastic ballhandler," the coach said.

Davis expects Miller's recruitment to continue to expand.

"Things have really picked up for David. The most aggressive school in his recruitment has been Minnesota, then Furman, and Kentucky would be third," Davis said.

"Ron Jirsa saw Dan first and then head coach Tubby Smith came the last day coaches could evaluate on April 30."
