Howard Pulley Wins Kingwood Classic

Howard Pulley won the Kingwood Classic Platinum Division Championship with a 69-60 win over Team Jones from Portland, Ore. It was the fourth game of the day for Pulley, who moved up the game to make sure that they could make their 5:15 p.m. flight back to the Twin Cities.

Royce White led Howard Pulley with 14 points and nine rebounds. Rodney Williams and Seantrel Henderson had 13 points each. Mike Broghammer scored nine points and grabbed six boards and Cedric Martin scored seven points, including two three-pointers.

Howard Pulley advanced to the finals with a 63-58 win over Branch West. Carrington Tankson had 18 points for Pulley and White added 16 points and eight rebounds. Henderson chipped in with nine points.
