Minnesota Vikings All-State HS Football Team

Sam Maresh named to Vikings All-State team again

The Minnesota Vikings have selected their sixth annual high school football team that will be honored at halftime of the Minnesota Vikings-Chicago Bears game Monday night. Thirty players were selected to the team, including Minnesota commits Roszelle Gayden of Cooper, Ryan Grant from Eden Prairie, Sam Maresh of Champlin Park and John Nance from Cretin-Derham Hall.

In addition to the 30 players selected to the team, Dave Dose of Glencoe-Silver Lake was named the Coach of the Year. The Vikings will award Dose a check for $2,000 toward his football team. Michael Floyd of Cretin-Derham Hall, who was named Minnesota's Mr. Football, will be an honorary captain for the game.
