Dom Barber is GSN/VAG Player of the Week

Dominique Barber, a 6-foot, 210-pound senior safety, was named GoldenSports.Net/Valley Automotive Group Gopher Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the game versus Northwestern. Barber finished with elven tackles in their 49-48 double overtime loss.

Dominique Barber, who won the GoldenSports.Net/Valley Automotive Group Gopher Defensive Player of the Week, had eleven total tackles (seven unassisted and four solo tackles and a pass break-up against Northwestern Saturday. His 62 tackles leads the Gophers and is sixth in the Big Ten.

Barber was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the media as a junior as he established career-highs in every statistical category.
