Wheelwright is Offensive Player of the Week

Ernie Wheelwright, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound senior wide receiver from Colmubus, Ohio, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 44-17 loss to Illinois. It is the second time that Wheelwright has won the honor.

Ernie Wheelwright caught nine passes for 123 yards and one touchdown. He caught a 15-yard touchdown pass, giving him a team-best nine receiving scores. Wheelwright has caught 53 passes for 656 yards and nine touchdowns for the season.
