Wheelwright is Offensive Player of the Week

Ernie Wheelwright, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound wide receiver from Colmubus, Ohio, was named GoldenSports.net/Outback Steakhouse's Gopher Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in their 49-48 overtime loss to Northwestern.

Ernie Wheelwright caught seven passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns. He caught a 21, 26 and 28-yard touchdown pass. Wheelwright has caught 36 passes for 460 yards and eight touchdowns for the season.
