Trent Lockett Draws Recruiting Interest

Trent Lockett, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound junior guard/forward from Minnetonka (MN) Hopkins, has drawn four scholarship offers and several other schools are planning to extend an offer, according to his high school coach Ken Novak and Net Gain AAU coach Marquise Watts.

Trent Lockett has offers from Northern Iowa, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Colorado State and most recently Iowa State. Lockett, who was a sixth man last season, helped lead the Royals to a 26-2 mark last year. Hopkins won the Class AAAA (biggest schools) title in 2005 and 2006 and was the favorite to win it all last year before they were upset by crosstown rival Minnetonka 55-53 in the second round...
