Kevan Walker commits to Minnesota

Wide receiver Kevan Walker, son of former Gopher and current UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker, has committed to Minnesota. Walker, a 6-foot, 190-pounder from Arcadia (CA) High, is the fourth commitment for head coach Tim Brewster in the past four days.

Kevan Walker had received recruiting interest from Minnesota, Colorado, Nebraska, Notre Dame, UCLA, Washington and West Virginia. He is the first outstate commit for Minnesota, which has received commitments from five local players.
