Jordan Waiwaiole Gets Early Recruiting Looks

Jordan Waiwaiole, a 6-foot-4 defensive end from Spring Lake Park (MN) High, has attracted the attention of several Division I schools, including Minnesota. Waiwaiole was the North Suburban Conference Most Valuable Defensive Player after finishing with 12 sacks and 78 tackles as a junior. GoldenSports.Net caught up with his head coach Jeff Schlieff to learn the latest on his recruitment.

Jordan Waiwaiole helped lead Spring Lake Park to a 9-1 mark this past season. He also finished with 42 carries for 218 yards (5.2 yards per carry). Waiwaiole had 33 solo tackles and 36 assists with four sacks as a sophomore as the Panthers, finished 9-2, losing to Totino Grace in the Class 4AAAA section finals.
