Gopher Stephon Rhea Transfers to Stephen F. Austin

Stephon Rhea, a 5-foot-10 Gopher redshirt freshman cornerback, has decided to transfer to Stephen F. Austin. Rhea will follow younger brother Aaron, who signed with the Lumberjacks in the early signing period.

Stephon Rhea was part of the Gopher signing class of 2003. He redshirted as a freshman and played in 13 plays this past season.

Rhea was a first-team all-state and all-district selection as a senior. He was a three-year letterwinner.

Rhea was the second fastest Gopher defensive back, running a 4.45 40-yard dash. He will be eligible immediately at Stephen F. Austin, a Division I-AA school and have three years of eligibility remaining.
