The Big Ten is off to a strong start in football recruiting with 147 verbal commitments to date. The Gophers have received nine commitments after receiving three recent verbals. Wisconsin leads the Big Ten schools with 18 verbals and Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue have 16 each.
