Big Ten off to a strong FB recruiting start

The Big Ten is off to a strong start in football recruiting. The 11 teams have 22 verbal commitments to date. The Gophers have already received three commitments, which is believed to be a record. Ohio State leads the Big Ten schools with six verbals. Four Big Ten schools have yet to receive a commitment. The Big 12 has 32 verbals. The ACC has 32 verbals (led by Virginia's 13), the SEC has 20 commitments, the Big East has 11 and the Pac 10 has 10 verbals.
