Spencer Tollackson scored 10 points in the first half to help Chaska jump out to a 17-9 first-quarter lead. The Hawks would never surrender the lead as they cruised to a 58-42 win over Blaine in the quarterfinals of the Minnesota boy's state high school basketball tournament. Tollackson finished with 24 points to lead all scorers.

next season, scored just one point in the second quarter, but he and 6-6 Lee Isaacson, who scored two inside baskets in the period, got 7-0 center

to commit his third foul with three minutes left in the second quarter.
The Hawks led 27-18 at halftime and expanded the lead to 41-26 after three periods as 6-4 senior Andy Stark hit three three-pointers.
Tollackson scored nine points in the final quarter and expanded the Chaska lead to 18 points in the final quarter.
Tollackson made 10 of 16 shots from the field and made four of six from the line. Stark was four of six from beyond the arc as he added 12 points.

Steve Moore
led Blaine with 12 points and 10 rebounds. O'Bryant, who will play for Bradley, had 11 Points on five of nine shooting. 6-2 senior guard Eric Almen added 10 points for the Bengals, who finished the season 24-5.
Chaska will face St. Paul Johnson tomorrow at the Target Center in the Minnesota boy's state high school basketball tournament semifinals.
