Woodbury (MN.) East Ridge junior wide receiver Kjetil Cline has been getting around this summer and talks about the destinations he’s been to and where he still plans on going.
“My recruitment has been going good,” Cline told GopherDigest. “I have been meeting a lot of new coaches and being able to visit a lot of amazing facilities. I went to Oregon, Northwestern, Michigan and Michigan State. I'm still going to Minnesota and Stanford this summer, and I have heard from a lot schools. I am not hearing from any new schools though.”
One school that inquired early about the 6-0, 175-pound wide out was the hometown Gophers, who is someone he grew up to love.
“I am really interested in Minnesota,” said Cline. “Coach Kill is a great coach and also they have really great support academically and through sports. If they offered, it would mean a lot. They were one of the first people to show interest in me, so that means they took time to get to know me. I did grow up a Gopher fan too.”
While Cline is relatively a newcomer to many, he breaks down his game and what he brings to the gridiron.
“I am explosive off the line, with great rout running ability,” said Cline. “I catch the ball, and then separates from the defenders.”
