Big Visit Weekend Yields Big Results

Sources tell that three prospects committed to the Nittany Lions while on campus.

A gray, rainy Sunday in State College is certainly not symbolic of the day Penn State has had. Indeed, it is a Blue and White Sunday.

Central Dauphin High (Harrisburg, Pa.) linebacker Zayd Issah and Bayside Academy (Daphne, Ala.) linebacker Jonathan Walton both committed to Penn State Sunday morning, sources close to the players confirmed to Fight On State. But the Nittany Lions also added one more.

Valley Forge Prep defensive back Anthony Smith also committed to the Nittany Lions, a source confirmed to Fight On State. Smith. Smith, who will be an early enrollee, is taking a post-graduate year at Valley Forge.

All three prospects spent this weekend at University Park with other players, both committed and non-committed, as Bill O'Brien and his staff hosted an official visit weekend. Both Issah and Walton waited until Sunday morning to commit.

Fight On State will have more from the newest members of the Class of 2013 as the day unfolds. Recommended Stories
