Coach Matt Limegrover's Take:

"James is a guy, that I think it's been well documented as a staff, and particularity Coach Sawvel has been recruiting James for going on three years now basically on and off.

"We loved him when we were at Northern Illinois, felt like he was a guy that could be a program changer. He opted to go to junior college.

"To Coach Sawvel's credit, stayed in touch with him and he had a great year. I think he might have been the Mississippi Junior College conference Player of the Year. Just a guy that will make our offense better.

"Just inserting him, giving him the football, he's just got a knack. Runs hard, he doesn't fumble a lot, gets the tough yards, has the breakaway speed we're looking for.

"We really feel like putting him back in the backfield with a couple of the young guys who gained that year of experience, we feel very good about our running back position with him at it."
