Yancey Excited for Minnesota Junior Day

The Gophers are bringing in a large number of in-state players to their junior day this weekend. One player not from the state that will make the trip is Lake Central (Ind.) running back David Yancey. The talented athlete likes what he is hearing from Minnesota thus far and is excited to see what the campus has to offer.

Yancey, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound junior running back already has offers from Butler, Wyoming, Ball State, and Central Michigan. With a number of early offers, Yancey also has some top schools interested in his services. "Alabama is starting to show a lot," he said. "Oregon, Indiana, Purdue, and Iowa as well."
