"A few schools stopped by. Wisconsin, Texas Tech and a few [other] schools came by to talk to me," said Williams. "They said they are highly interested and I'm interested in all the schools that's recruiting me," he added.
Another big name school who visited was the University of Minnesota. "Yes they did," Williams said of Minnesota making the trek to evaluate him. "They said I look pretty good and they want to continue to watch me grow."
Williams appears to be on the verge of garnering more offers to go with the two he currently has. "I have offers from New Mexico and Kentucky," he said.
With a handful of schools interested, Williams is looking to increase his stock by attending camps this summer. "Most definitely," said Williams about attending camps. "But I'm not sure which camps I'm going to right now."
Along with various camp outings, he plans on also making visits to see some of the schools who are pursuing him. "Most definitely but I'm not sure which camps I'm going to right now," said Williams.
The interest in Williams with surely increase as more coaches learn what he can bring to their team. "As a player, I have a great work ethic," he said. "I can help build off all my teammates. And at Heritage we went to state so you know, I know what it takes to be a winner," Williams added.
"I know the dedication and hard work involved. I'm a student of the game. I can help the other players around me get better and I'm just a hard worker."
