Jordan Armstrong is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound athlete out of Felix Varela High School in Miami, Florida. Armstrong is an extremely athletic player who can play multiple positions.
"I have offers to play all quarterback, running back, wide receiver and defensive back, so I can play a few positions, but I'm most comfortable at defensive back," Armstrong said.
Many schools have already given verbal offers to Armstrong. He claims offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Florida International, Maryland, Kansas, Louisville and Minnesota. With all these offers, Armstrong is taking the recruiting process slow.
"I don't really have any favorites right now, I'm basically looking at any school open to talk to me," he said. "So, any day could be different."
When asked if he has kept in contact with the Minnesota coaching staff he responded, "I haven't talked to them a lot. Actually, the coach came to visit Undray Clark, and talked to me a little, and just told me that they were verbally offering me."
Although he doesn't know where he will attend college he does know what he wants out of the school he ultimately chooses.
"Good academics, a good graduating rate on athletes — I plan on graduating college," he explained. "A school that has a winning mentality and history, and a school that helps students on and off the field with everyday life, and your spiritual life."
With offers from a handful of BCS schools already, look for Jordan Armstrong's recruitment to heat up this cycle.
